Overview

We’re looking for a bold, visionary Director of Television and Production to lead broadcast and digital media initiatives while overseeing lighting, LED systems, and A/V production. You’ll oversee content across TV, streaming, live events, podcasts, and emerging platforms—bringing creative ideas to life with technical excellence and cultural insight. Key responsibilities include supervising multi-camera production and live broadcast operations, ensuring post-production workflows meet broadcast and digital standards, and managing A/V systems design, integration, and execution for diverse productions. In addition, you’ll play a vital role in training and mentoring volunteers and overseeing production support teams to maintain the highest level of quality and consistency. Reporting to the Executive Producer of Television and Production, this role turns big vision into unforgettable television and production experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alignment with the church’s vision and values
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of television, production and multi-platform video production—from concept through delivery.
  • Lead the creative and technical execution of live broadcasts, stage productions, video podcasts, and digital-first content.
  • Ensure all productions are delivered on time and within budget, managing resources, timelines, and vendor relationships with precision.
  • Develop and optimize systems and workflows that enable consistency, scale, and creative momentum.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring vision to life with clarity and alignment.
  • Inspire and mentor a diverse, high-capacity team of editors, videographers, engineers, freelancers, and volunteers.
  • Uphold the highest standards of technical quality, creative excellence, and cultural relevance across all content.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, feedback, and continual improvement in all aspects of production.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in television, live production, or creative media
  • Strong working knowledge of audio, lighting, LED, engineering, and stagecraft in both live and recorded environments.
  • Deep expertise in television, production and digital media technology, with a passion for staying current as the industry evolves.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and production resources efficiently
  • Experience building scalable systems and repeatable workflows in high-output settings
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills across varying levels of experience and roles
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a strong bias for action
  • Commitment to excellence and alignment with the mission and values of a faith-based organization.

You’re a Fit If You…

  • Have a proven track record in broadcast or digital content production—with the results to prove it.
  • Obsess over the craft of storytelling—how it looks, sounds, and connects
  • Think beyond traditional broadcast and embrace social-native, digital-first formats and video podcasting.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and lead with clarity, energy, and structure.
  • Use technology as a creative tool—not an end in itself
  • Are passionate about leading high-performing teams and building a strong, healthy culture.
  • Possess a sharp cultural sensibility and create content that’s relevant, resonant, and real-time
  • Understand that creative excellence also requires operational discipline—managing people, processes, and resources with accountability.
