Insight Global is hiring a UI/UX Designer to sit onsite in Stamford, CT 3 days a week for a large, entertainment & media company. This designer will be joining the Direct-to-Consumer organization within their product tooling team. This person will be responsible for taking their current/legacy user interface and improving the user experience and overall efficiency. Furthermore, this designer will have the responsibility of examining how the current systems work and how we can improve its interface and perform usability testing. This designer will build its design on what it should do and look, evaluate current interface and make it visually better appealing. This designer has to be comfortable working with dev teams and interfacing with various internal team members/groups.

Responsibilities

• Take current/legacy user interface and improve the user experience and overall efficiency.
• Examine how the current systems work and how we can improve its interface and perform usability testing.
• Build designs on what it should do and look; evaluate current interface and make it visually better appealing.
• Comfortable working with dev teams and interfacing with various internal team members/groups.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UI/UX Design Experience
• Previous experience redesigning legacy interfaces to enhance user satisfaction
• Designing a user interface framework across internal tools
• Background within front-end development and coordinating with dev teams
• Experience collaborating with product owners, end users, and stakeholders
• Prior experience with conducting usability testing and incorporating feedback into design improvements
• Prior experience within an Agile environment
• Good communication and personality
• Bachelor's Degree; Media & Entertainment experience preferred
