Job Summary

As a UI/UX Developer, you’ll be responsible for translating product requirements into pixel-perfect designs and implementing them using modern front-end frameworks. You’ll work closely with product, backend developers, and QA to craft interfaces that simplify compliance workflows for users across industries.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and backend engineers to design and build intuitive user interfaces for our compliance software.
• Translate Figma or design mockups into responsive front-end components using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain a component library aligned with Insight Assurance’s brand and UX standards.
• Write clean, modular, accessible, and testable front-end code.
• Ensure seamless performance across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Create and maintain documentation for UI components and front-end architecture.
• Collaborate using Slack, Jira, Confluence or Notion, and GitHub.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development and UX/UI design implementation.
• Proven experience working remotely with U.S.-based dev teams in Agile environments.
• Proficiency with React.js and component-based architecture.
• Experience with TailwindCSS, Next.js, or Material UI is a plus.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration with back-end services.
• Familiarity with AWS services related to front-end delivery (e.g., S3, CloudFront).
• Strong grasp of accessibility (WCAG) and usability principles.
• Experience in Figma or similar design collaboration tools.
• Comfortable creating internal product documentation and collaborating on documentation libraries.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to security or compliance-related platforms.
• Experience with Python/Django environments or understanding how front-end interfaces with back-end APIs.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Recharts).
