Danner’s Incorporated, a respected leader in Maritime Transportation and Security, is seeking an accomplished Video Manager to lead our Security Surveillance Division. This pivotal leadership role oversees operations, monitoring, field services, customer relations, and strategic growth within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

The ideal candidate brings vision, operational excellence, and the ability to drive innovation in surveillance technology while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational & Strategic Leadership
    • Direct all day-to-day operations of the Security Surveillance Division, ensuring seamless execution from deployment to monitoring and maintenance.
    • Develop and communicate the division’s strategic vision, set measurable goals, and align operational initiatives with broader company objectives.
    • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), compliance protocols, and service-level benchmarks to maintain excellence across all functions.
    • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the division.
  • Technology & Monitoring Oversight
    • Evaluate, select, and implement advanced surveillance and monitoring technologies to maintain industry leadership.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for monitoring performance, using data to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Oversee system integration and ensure effective adoption of standardized practices across monitoring, surveillance, and field operations.
  • Field Services & Customer Operations
    • Lead and supervise field technicians, installers, and service teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Manage scheduling, routing, and logistics to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value clients, strengthening relationships and ensuring client expectations are consistently exceeded.
    • Investigate service-level issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Financial & Resource Management
    • Manage division budgets, labor costs, and resource allocation, balancing financial discipline with operational excellence.
    • Monitor payroll, billing compliance, and vendor performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
    • Provide executive leadership with regular performance reports, highlighting trends, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Recruit, onboard, and mentor division staff, developing talent pipelines to support long-term growth.
    • Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and succession planning to strengthen leadership capabilities at every level.
    • Cultivate employee engagement, retention, and advancement opportunities while ensuring staff remain current with all required licenses and certifications.
  • Compliance & External Relations
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as industry standards, particularly those governing surveillance and security operations.
    • Maintain strong vendor partnerships and industry connections to support innovation and service delivery.
    • Represent the company in civic, community, and industry forums as a leader and advocate for professional security practices.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably in security surveillance, security services, or logistics.
    • Proven ability to lead large, mobile, and field-based teams.
    • Strong knowledge of integrated security systems (video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, cybersecurity).
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain necessary security licensing.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.
    • Experience managing a $5M+ division or business unit.
    • Background in maritime security or surveillance environments.
