Overview

Prime Video is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Content Acquisition & Partnerships Manager with deal experience and a background in partner management, business development, strategy, or management consulting to manage and develop relationships with content providers for Prime Video Subscriptions (PVC). This role will close new deals and act as a partner’s primary resource for questions and challenges, working across multiple teams to ensure partner business growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end deal negotiations, including content selection, financial analysis, forecasting, technical requirements, and cross-department signoffs
  • Establish, manage, and grow senior-level relationships with content providers
  • Analyze partner performance to create partner-facing strategy presentations with data-driven recommendations and growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute project plans, collaborating with internal teams across Prime Video (e.g., marketing, public relations, finance, operations) to deepen partnerships and drive PVC program participation
  • Understand customer and partner needs, using insights to advocate for Prime Video features that enhance the Amazon customer streaming experience
  • Maintain a positive, proactive approach and use available tools to solve problems quickly
  • Monitor industry trends, seasonality, and competitor developments to inform partner strategy

About the Team

Prime Video Channels, launched in 2015, allows Prime Video customers to subscribe to channels like HBO Max, Apple TV+, Starz, Paramount+, and Discovery+ without a cable subscription.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including location and may vary with knowledge, skills, and experience.
