Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, Visual Arts. Location: New World School of the Arts. Regular/Temporary: Temporary. Full/Part Time: Part-Time. Job ID: 1007589. Job Family: FAC- Part-Time Faculty, Credit Classes. Grade: P1. Salary: $54.37 - Base Rate. Department: Visual Arts, NWSA. Reports To: Dean, New World School of the Arts. Closing Date: Open until filled. FLSA Status: Exempt - Not Eligible for Overtime Compensation. First Review Date: May 13, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
• Evaluates and advises students
• Participates in departmental and College affairs
• Develops curricula
• Recruits students
• Serves on committees
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Master's degree in discipline or a Master\'s degree from a regionally accredited institution and 18 graduate credit hours in discipline from an accredited institution
• All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Teaching experience at college or community college level preferred
• Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
• Must possess excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
• Must be able to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
