Position Summary

RELI Group is seeking a detail-focused Technical Writer to support the Information Security and Privacy Services (ISPS) under the Marketplace System Security and Privacy Support Services (MSSPSS) contract for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This role supports Task 7 and plays a key part in producing high-quality documentation that ensures program transparency, stakeholder communication, and contract compliance. The Technical Writer will work closely with privacy, cybersecurity, risk management, and analytics professionals to produce and maintain deliverables including monthly progress reports, quality assurance plans, policy documentation, and senior leadership materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and format deliverables such as Project Work Plans, Monthly Progress Reports, Quality Assurance Plans, training guides, and policy documents
• Translate complex technical and regulatory information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate documents
• Support creation of presentation materials for executive and stakeholder briefings
• Collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs, GRC analysts, and program leads to ensure documentation reflects accurate and up-to-date information
• Maintain version control and documentation repositories in accordance with CMS requirements
• Ensure that deliverables meet CMS formatting, compliance, and schedule expectations
• Assist in producing audit artifacts, operational SOPs, and performance dashboards as supporting documentation
• Work with the project team to continuously improve content quality, document design, and delivery workflows

Qualifications

• Experience supporting CMS, CCIIO, or ACA-related programs
• Familiarity with CMS Acceptable Risk Safeguards (ARS), IS2P2, or NIST 800-53
• Experience contributing to Quality Assurance Plans and Federal reporting deliverables
• Understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, and federal compliance terminology
• Ability to use visual design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Visio) for diagrams and presentation assets

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $85,000.00. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
