As an Senior Communications Specialist, you will: Focus on the planning and execution of high-impact internal and external events—from employee town halls and leadership meetings to activations. The Senior Specialist will also collaborate closely with team leaders on key initiatives, such as executive award submissions and earnings report recaps. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and operational agility to manage multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across business segments. Seeking a candidate who can thoughtfully balance multiple programs from strategic planning through tactical execution across businesses and teams, possesses strong critical thinking skills and a knack for simplifying complex information. Collaborate on tracking, analyzing, and synthesizing industry reports into clear and concise insights for key internal stakeholders, such as quarterly earnings recaps Partner and advise on all internal event needs, including location scouting, on-the-ground support, and tracking vendor needs Support ongoing implementation of executive communications efforts, including award submissions and speaking opportunities Contribute to key projects, including PR plans, messaging documents, and other written materials Assist with brand reputation and crisis response efforts, including press monitoring and issue tracking during key moments Support ongoing efforts to amplify the performance of our content with press and key stakeholders This is a full-time hybrid 6-month opportunity. Monday-Thursday is on-site in Burbank, CA , Friday’s remote from home. Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm. This role may require overtime - include working mornings/nights, and weekends as needed, but not guaranteed. The ideal candidate must have: 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, publicity, or internal communications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage deadline-driven writing projects with minimal oversight Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and project prioritization abilities Comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment Proactive, solutions-oriented team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership Naturally curious and eager to learn about all aspects of the business and industry landscape Discreet and professional when handling sensitive or confidential information Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field Pay Rate: $55.00-$60.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
