Build valuable relationships with Wealth business leaders to translate business, client, and product strategies into supporting marketing strategies; apply knowledge of customer/client behavior for the business and provides insights into product strategy development as well as segmentation and targeting. Collaborate with internal and external marketing partners to develop and execute marketing programs for the business and ensure alignment of all strategies to the Truist Purpose and Brand.
Responsibilities Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Apply in-depth and specialized expertise and/or a significant breadth of expertise in Marketing and other related disciplines including creative development and market research.
Manage large marketing initiatives, utilizing all marketing channels including digital.
Interpret internal/external business challenges, including client needs and competitive marketplace and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Apply a comprehensive understanding of how the business operates to solve technical, operational, and business problems.
Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.
Directly impact the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives.
May have people management responsibilities.
Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex and unusual situations.
Deliver programs on budget and on time.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in wealth management marketing
In-depth knowledge and expertise of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P’s, Market research, analytics, digital)
Experience managing or leading projects or project work streams and operates as a lead in a specialty capacity
Knowledge of client needs and competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
Ability to provide direction, coaching and mentor teammates
Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, preparing presentations for senior level teammates
Developing presentation skills and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in related field
Ten years of related experience
Previous experience in wealth management, financial services, retail or packaged goods industries
Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking product and/or segment marketing experience

Sitting: Constantly (More than 50% of the time)
Standing: Frequently (25% - 50% of the time)

Bending: Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time)
Lifting: Up to 25 lbs.
Visual / Audio / Speaking: Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding: Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Availability: Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
Travel: Up to 25%
