Overview

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a dynamic digital marketing professional to serve as the Senior Consultant of Digital Marketing and Strategy - Philanthropy. This role is a key member of the MCW Office of Communications and Brand Strategy in partnership with the Office of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations, collaborating with colleagues at MCW and Froedtert Hospital to execute and manage philanthropy digital marketing and engagement strategies to drive the philanthropy strategic plan. As a member of the marketing and communications team, the role shapes and executes the marketing technology roadmap, fosters innovation, and drives integration of new technologies to optimize philanthropy marketing efforts. A deep understanding of marketing technologies, data analytics, and process optimization is required to support data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. Responsibilities

Develop the digital ecosystem to drive philanthropy engagements. Leverage Luminate systems and data analytics to support strategic decision-making and enhance reporting accuracy and insights. Execute strategy for website/microsite philanthropy engagements and user experience. Ensure web and digital on-brand design and connected digital systems to drive philanthropic engagement and donor support. Oversee the online experience for benefactors, new donors, and alumni to donate, develop planned giving opportunities, communicate with gift officers, and more. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Information Systems, philanthropy, alumni engagement, and clinical teams) to create and implement transformative marketing initiatives that enhance the brand, engage audiences, and drive growth. Align the marketing digital engagement vision with campaign and donor experience goals, ensuring donor-centered approaches with stakeholders. Set and monitor measurable goals and key performance indicators. Partner with the Office of Communications to develop digital strategy in line with institutional guidelines and systems. Execute on search engine optimization, online transactions, and high-value action conversions for donors and integration with MCW enterprise systems. Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

Proactive, goal-oriented, and agile professional with demonstrated success in healthcare philanthropy. Proven track record of executing digital strategies in complex environments. Seasoned marketing professional with digital experience and outstanding communications skills. Ability to thrive in a matrix environment to collaborate with IS, marketing communications leaders, and philanthropy colleagues. Experience in or working knowledge of customer lifecycle strategies and management. Thorough knowledge of current and emerging marketing trends and best practices, including emerging technologies. Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent information architecture, user experience, digital design, digital production, SEO, and online brand management experience. Expertise in content management systems administration, agile development, Google Analytics, SEM, site search, and accessibility standards (W3C). Proven analytical, critical thinking, creative, and technical abilities. Experience executing digital strategies and using UX testing data to inform decisions. Working knowledge of HTML and expertise in SEO. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Proven track record of implementing and managing marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Almabase, Raiser's Edge, Sitecore). In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and data security. Strong analytics skills with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights and reporting. Strong strategic planning skills and ability to organize resources and priorities. Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager. Minimum Qualifications

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis. Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing or marketing operations, including experience with marketing technology strategy and implementation, and developing, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree preferred. 8+ years of healthcare and philanthropy digital marketing experience, and experience leading/participating in platform integrations. Why MCW?
