Overview

We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Public Relations professional with a focus on executive visibility efforts (i.e., panels, speaking opportunities) and managing editorial planning across key industry publications. The Director, Public Relations focuses on identifying and securing high-impact speaking engagements, panel opportunities, and thought leadership placements for senior executives, both domestically and internationally. Responsibilities

Proactively identify and secure executive speaking opportunities at relevant industry conferences, panels, and events worldwide Build and maintain a comprehensive calendar of upcoming events and speaking engagements aligned with the company’s strategic goals Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to craft compelling speaker submissions, abstracts, and panel proposals Develop and manage the editorial calendar across key trade and business publications, ensuring alignment with PR and marketing objectives Monitor and evaluate media and event landscapes to identify emerging opportunities for executive visibility Provide briefing materials and support for executives participating in speaking engagements or media opportunities Qualifications

6+ years of show publicity experience Television network, studio, streaming service, or agency experience leading and project managing TV show publicity campaigns Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work as a team player and an independent contributor in an environment where multi-tasking is key Management and strategic planning experience, and the ability to operate independently; be a team player while demonstrating leadership and good decision-making skills Creative thinker who ideates with proven ability to implement comprehensive publicity campaigns for all types of TV series, including scripted, unscripted, animation, event, single-camera, and/or multi-camera series Ability to work well with different levels of management, as well as with talent, managers, producers, publicists, agents, and studio executives. Strong writing skills to prepare show synopsis, talent biographies, releases, pitch letters, media alerts, episodic log lines, and itineraries Bring strong relationships with press outlets (electronic, print, online, talk show bookers, podcast, and new media, etc) Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $125,000.00-135,000.00 annually.
