This role requires someone who is technically savvy and strategic, with a proven track record of crafting compelling product narratives and building marketing assets that resonate with technical decision-makers. Responsibilities
Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear and differentiated messaging that articulates the value of Baseten’s inference platform to developers and enterprise customers.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Own the launch process for new features and products, collaborating closely with product, engineering, sales, and growth teams.
Content Development: Create high-quality marketing assets, including solution briefs, white papers, technical blogs, demos, and customer case studies.
Sales Enablement: Build resources and programs that empower our sales teams to effectively communicate Baseten’s capabilities and benefits.
Customer Engagement: Drive initiatives targeting developers through community programs, events, webinars, and educational content.
Market Insights: Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify trends and inform product positioning strategies.
KPIs
Deliver Product Launch Impact: Deliver timely and successful product launches with measurable adoption among target customers.
Pipeline Influence: Increase marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline through enterprise campaigns and sales enablement.
Content Engagement: Drive growth in engagement with technical content (downloads, views, shares) among developer and enterprise audiences.
Developer Community Growth: Expand participation and activity in developer-focused programs (webinars, events, forums).
Competitive Positioning: Improve win rates by strengthening product differentiation through messaging and positioning.
Sales Enablement Effectiveness: Equip sales teams with assets and training that improve deal velocity and conversion rates.
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS.
Proven success creating technical product marketing content and campaigns targeting developer audiences.
Strong understanding of enterprise customer needs and experience building marketing programs for large organizations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Technically adept and comfortable working with engineering teams to understand product capabilities.
Experience with AI/ML products is a plus but not required.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with developer ecosystems, APIs, and modern software development practices.
Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, model serving, and performance optimization concepts.
