Senior Manager, Executive Communications Overview

Role: Senior Manager, Executive Communications at NBCUniversal. The position shapes and executes the executive communications strategy for the Advertising & Partnerships leadership team, amplifying business priorities and elevating leaders’ presence within the media and advertising landscape. Responsibilities

Set and execute the executive communications strategy for the Advertising & Partnerships leadership team. Vet inbound speaking-request opportunities, pitch session ideas, draft abstracts, and identify award and editorial opportunities. Prepare executives for public appearances by writing speeches, coordinating sponsorships, and staff on red-carpet events. Collaborate with research to identify insights that position NBCUniversal as a thought leader in advertising. Track industry trends and manage a detailed calendar of opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with press and programmers; secure appropriate spokespeople for high-impact moments. Draft briefing documents, talking points, and social copy; coordinate logistics; provide media training; and offer on-site speaker support. Partner with the speakers’ team to source case studies and relevant content. Work cross-functionally with marketing and communications to align on earned and sponsored engagements and messaging. Qualifications

6+ years of communications experience, with at least 3 years in executive communications (pitching speaking engagements, drafting award submissions, securing thought leadership opportunities, and media training senior executives). Strong relationships with event programmers and press in media, advertising, marketing, business, sports, tech and/or financial markets. Familiarity with advertising and media conference circuits (e.g., CES, SXSW, NewFront, Upfront, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week). Highly organized with experience managing a calendar of events and awards with multiple deadlines and budgets. Exceptional writing skills (op-eds, white papers, press releases, speeches, abstracts, award submissions). Ability to handle confidential information with care and professionalism. Proactive team-player with the ability to execute tasks with precision; able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. NY-Based with ability to travel domestically and internationally; hybrid in-office requirement of 3 days a week minimum. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Hybrid

This position is designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Salary Range

$100,000 - $125,000 + bonus eligible Additional Information
