In This Role, You Will

Identify and support designing event programs for clients that tie to opportunities such as contract renewals, cross-sells, and up-sells (e.g., adding additional apps to client packages).

Evaluate the client’s current total event program and design a program using Cvent technology and services that aligns with their business goals.

Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers to drive business opportunities.

Manage personal opportunity support pipeline to maximize all business opportunities.

Maintain positive relationships with teams across the organization.

Monitor and report sales activity within the system.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel as needed.

Here’s What You Need

Bachelor’s degree required (strong academic performance desired).

At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing, revenue-generating role (more is welcome).

Project Management Professional certification is preferred.

Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment.

Ability to integrate knowledge across relationship management, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High computer literacy; proficient with MS Office Suite and Salesforce or similar CRM.

This is not a technical position. Relevant experience might include selling CRM or CMS systems, ASP-based data systems, Travel or Meeting Planning Services.

Experience supporting or managing accounts in SaaS/technology/hospitality space is a plus.

Experience working in the Event Management industry is a plus.

Cvent System Administrator Certification preferred.
