Overview Lead the Sales and Marketing function to drive revenue growth, occupancy performance, and brand presence across Americare Senior Living communities. Reporting to the President, this executive role plans, directs, and evaluates all aspects of sales, marketing, digital strategy, and referral development in alignment with the company’s mission, values, and growth objectives. The VP of Sales and Marketing leads a high-performing team and collaborates with Operations, Finance, Clinical, IT, People Leadership and external partners to ensure a consistent and compelling customer journey through move-in and beyond.

Position Summary The Vice President will oversee centralized and community-level efforts in sales, digital and traditional marketing, public relations, and market intelligence to ensure brand consistency, effective outreach, and strategic market alignment across all service areas. Responsibilities include building people, systems, and strategy that move lives forward and support census growth, brand trust, and a high-performing team.

Essential Functions

Strategic Sales and Marketing Leadership : Develop and execute an integrated sales and marketing strategy to increase occupancy, optimize value per unit, and expand market presence. Use data analytics to inform growth plans and optimize tactics. Balance occupancy targets with rate integrity to ensure sustainable growth. Monitor internal performance and market trends to refine strategy. Lead long-term growth initiatives with measurable value.

Sales and Marketing Oversight : Lead and coach sales and marketing professionals, regional directors, and community leaders to meet occupancy and conversion goals. Design and optimize scalable sales systems and CRM usage. Strengthen referral networks through enterprise-level partnerships.

Digital Marketing and Brand Strategy : Lead digital marketing efforts (website, online advertising, email, reputation management, content creation), oversee brand consistency and public relations, implement analytics tools to monitor engagement and ROI, and ensure a consistent digital presence across channels. Manage external partnerships to drive occupancy and ROI.

Team Leadership and Talent Development : Recruit and develop a high-performing team aligned with Americare’s RISING and Hometown Hospitality Values. Provide training, performance tools, benchmarks, and accountability frameworks. Foster innovation, collaboration, and a culture focused on resident, family, and employee experience.

Cross Functional Collaboration : Partner with Operations, Clinical, People Leadership, IT and Finance to align strategy, pricing, service delivery, and customer experience. Support recruitment, community reputation, and long-term sustainability initiatives.

Customer Experience and Compliance : Coach Operations on inquiries and concerns from residents and families to ensure timely, professional responses. Uphold honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior in all activities and ensure compliance with Americare values.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of senior-level experience across sales, marketing, and analytics in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.

Proven success in digital marketing campaigns, occupancy improvement, and multi-site team management.

Experience aligning pricing, payer strategy, and sales tactics to maximize revenue across a continuum of care is strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of digital marketing tools and CRM platforms; ability to lead with data-driven insights.

Skills and Competencies

Strategic mindset with execution speed and market insight.

Proficiency in CRM systems and digital platforms; strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to lead cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.

Work Environment and Expectations

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Hours may vary based on need

Location: Remote eligible within Americare footprint

Travel: Up to 50% annually for community visits, team leadership, and industry events
