As the Social Media Manager, you will oversee content management across the clients social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and others. Responsibilities include content creation, photo/video editing, caption writing, and audience growth.

This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work in the office set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating very engaging content (video, photos) for Instagram, TikTok and Youtube

Constructing a monthly content calendar (in collaboration with the company) to strategize and plan content out weeks in advance

Engaging with customer posts and UGC to build community relationships and responding to comments and mentions in a timely manner

Managing our Instagram page to ensure it looks professional and drives maximum engagement

Creating weekly stories with polls, questions, etc., anything to drive engagement and input from our viewers

Grow our follower count on Instagram and TikTok and progressively improve the engagement of our posts

Identifying micro-influencers and brand advocates who align with our brand values, and reaching out to them to begin potential partnership discussions

Tracking performance metrics and creating regular reports on growth, engagement and conversion rate and making data-driven recommendations

Manage Pinterest account to keep pins up to date

Monitoring brand mentions, industry trends and competitor activity to inform content strategy

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 3-5 years of solid social media management experience (specifically for brands, not just personal accounts)

Successful track record of managing US/Canadian social media accounts with at least 10K followers

Demonstrated success with video content creation - particularly important given TikTok's prominence and Instagram Reels

Proven experience in e-commerce social media marketing, ideally in lifestyle, parenting, or children's products sectors

Deep understanding of Instagram/TikTok/Youtube/Pinterest trends, best practices, algorithms, and emerging trends

Advanced skills in photo and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut, etc.)

Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools - ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations

Experience creating UGC-style content that feels authentic and drives engagement

Experience with community building - not just posting content, but fostering genuine engagement

Basic SEO knowledge and understanding how social media impacts search visibility and using appropriate keywords

Understanding of parenting/family market dynamics and ability to create content addressing child safety, development, and quality concerns is a plus

Experience with Shopify integration for social commerce is a plus
