Graphic Designer (Part Time) Job at US Tech Solutions in El Segundo

Location: El Segundo, CA (4 Day per week on-site) Duration: 03 Months (Possible Extension) Designer has the ability to work through design assignments with some guidance, but able to ideate quickly and work with the team to brainstorm and concept new and build off existing ideas. The design process includes conceptualization, trend research, consumer research, design presentations, product mockups in 2d or 3d, graphic design. The Designer stays abreast of competitive product and industry innovations. The contract Designer will, with direction from Lead Designers and Global Creative Director, develop assets and support graphic design needs for portfolio of brands. Designer will create brand-right assets for consumer products style guides, asset packs, product mockups, and general graphic design support for the franchise marketing team. Designer will work closely with peers on the team to ensure assets are useable and applicable to all consumer products categories globally. Must have a strong sense of graphic design for products ranging from apparel, sporting goods, stationary, backpacks, etc. Designer must be strong in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint – primary design format is vector-based. Design within brands, themes, categories, and age ranges. Deliver projects on time. Work with Lead Designers and Global Creative Director to understand and fulfil creative briefs and tackle creative tasks. With direction, able to create one sheets, inspiration decks, graphics, and PowerPoint presentations. Track current and emerging visual and consumer trends and able to curate for portfolio of brands and product categories. Actively participate in team brainstorm sessions (as well as cross-functional sessions) for new asset ideas, product development and innovation. Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Graphic Design, preferably for apparel and other consumer products. Skilled in Graphic Design, especially vector-based design. Excellent in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects. Strong communication skills to articulate all design ideas. Drawing and sketching to communicate ideas is a plus!
