Position Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for managing a high-performing marketing department that develops and executes a data-driven marketing strategy that accelerates business expansion, revenue generation, expands our investor base, enhances brand awareness, and drives our capital raise goals. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, leveraging digital marketing, analytics, content strategy, and investor engagement to fuel our firm’s growth. The ideal candidate has experience in private equity, alternative investments, or real estate capital raising, with a proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Raising & Investor Marketing
Implement targeted marketing campaigns to attract, nurture, and convert accredited investors.
Utilize data-driven marketing tactics to improve conversion rates and drive investor engagement.
Craft compelling investment narratives, pitch decks, and marketing materials that resonate with investors.
Oversee the creation of thought leadership content (whitepapers, webinars, podcasts, newsletters etc.) to position PPR as a market leader.
Brand Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute a strong brand identity and consistent messaging strategy across all channels.
Optimize lead generation and brand awareness strategies, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), marketing automation, webinars, and events.
Enhance the corporate website to improve the investor experience, lengthen time on site, attract prospective investors and expand brand awareness.
Develop strategic partnerships and sponsorships to expand PPR’s presence in the real estate investment space.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
Develop KPIs to track marketing effectiveness and cost-efficiency, optimizing single and multi-channel campaigns through data analytics.
Leverage CRM and investor data to drive segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to adjust growth strategies as needed.
Collaborate with Investor Relations to enhance the investor experience and increase customer acquisition and retention.
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing, growth-oriented marketing team across digital, content, and investor engagement functions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the marketing organization.
Partner with internal cross-functional teams, including Investments, Investor Relations, Technology and Operations, as well as third party partners, to ensure marketing initiatives are well integrated and supported across the organization.
Work closely with the executive team to align marketing initiatives with overall company growth objectives, providing regular progress reports, highlighting key growth metrics, successful initiatives, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
10+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a strong background in real estate capital raising, investment management, or financial services.
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive investor engagement and capital inflows.
Deep understanding of real estate private equity, debt investments, and alternative asset classes.
Experience with digital marketing, CRM systems, and investor acquisition strategies.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling investment stories.
