Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Brand & Marketing, the Marketing Promotions Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Commercial Operations team, collaborating closely with the FIFA Miami team and other stakeholders to deliver top-tier design solutions for FWC26.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple projects in a high-pressure environment to support the largest sporting event in the world.
  • Overseeing daily expectations of teams and partners, making critical decisions to ensure first-class marketing execution.
  • Developing and executing marketing plans, campaigns, activations, and digital strategies targeting FIFA World Cup 2026 audiences.
  • Generating innovative local creative ideas for ticket sales, social activations, and collaborations.
  • Monitoring project progress and deadlines aligned with key milestones.
  • Executing activations related to campaign milestones such as Mascot, Trophy Tour, FIFA Fan Festival, and promotional giveaways.
  • Managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring brand consistency across assets and media.
  • Coordinating efforts with internal teams and external partners for seamless marketing execution.
  • Handling logistics for events and activations, including vendor coordination and on-site setups.
  • Communicating proactively with agencies and stakeholders, and managing media placements.
  • Reporting on campaign performance, ROI, and providing strategic recommendations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong accountability, decision-making, and initiative skills.
  • Ability to foster inclusivity, lead teams, and demonstrate leadership and vision.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing, event, or project management, particularly with large-scale events.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in promotions, activations, and entertainment environments; agency or sports experience is advantageous.
  • Experience working with international teams preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or similar higher education.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish and French are a plus.
  • Proficient in project management tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams, Monday.com, Outlook).
