Join us at Plain as we revolutionize the customer support platform for the next generation of B2B companies. Our innovative tool is designed to streamline communication across various channels, enabling teams to collaborate effortlessly—trusted by industry pioneers like Stytch, Sanity, and Fly.io.
Founded by two passionate designers, Matt and Simon, design is at the heart of our product development. We are currently in search of a Visual Designer who will play a vital role in shaping our growth, marketing, and sales efforts.
Your Impact
As a Visual Designer, you will:
Define our visual identity: Craft a cohesive look across our web presence, marketing channels, and product.
Collaborate with our marketing team: Work closely with our marketer, Kate, to execute and iterate on marketing initiatives—from websites and sales materials to social media assets and email campaigns.
Drive creative campaigns: Bring innovative ideas to reach our audience, whether through a new campaign, content series, or unique events.
To excel in this role, you should:
Be proficient in Framer and Figma, with a strong eye for aesthetics and intuitive web design skills.
Have a knack for impactful copy, understanding how words and visuals work together harmoniously.
Bring experience from product-focused companies, ideally within the SaaS sector, and possess insight into effective product marketing.
Have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, enough to make minor adjustments and contribute on platforms like GitHub.
Be interested in expanding your skills in video production and content creation.
This Role is Right For You If:
You thrive in a designer-centric culture where craft is highly valued.
You embrace ambiguity and are energized by the challenges of a fast-paced environment.
You prefer teamwork and seek feedback early and often throughout the design process.
This Role May Not Suit You If:
You require a structured roadmap with clearly defined projects.
You focus solely on aesthetics rather than the performance of your designs.
You wish to limit your work to product design alone; this role centers on communication and marketing design.
You expect the perks of a large corporation; as a Series A startup, we offer competitive items tailored to our current stage but differ from established tech companies.
