The Wells Fargo Digital Design Innovation team creates experiences that empower our customers in Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking to manage their company's relationship with Wells Fargo confidently and securely and support their business operations. We're looking for?a?Senior?Product Designer?to focus on creating digital solutions for our customers and help fulfill our purpose of humanizing digital experiences for Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banking (CB-CIB).

As a?Senior?Product Designer focused on digital channel capabilities, you will be expected to utilize your full range of product design skills (design thinking, interaction design, visual design, information architecture, user research) in developing seamless experiences for authentication & user administration by partnering with product, development, and design partners. Lead & support insights-driven design efforts with a lean UX and agile approach to delivery. Key responsibilities will include crafting design solutions and delivering supporting artifacts, engaging with customers and research partners to connect experience insights with design outcomes, participating in Agile planning and ceremonies with partners, and consulting as necessary on design direction.

The successful candidate will have proven experience and performance as an inventive and collaborative product designer who understands how to navigate and lead through influence in a complex ecosystem and partner to deliver transformative customer experiences. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement. Experience designing for digital financial products along with subject matter expertise in authentication and user administration is preferred.

In this role, you will:

Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites

Manage the design, creation, and production of customers experience elements from product concept through completion, including product updates and revisions

Develop and execute customer experience solutions by employing a broad array of user centered design tools including: customer experience brief, site strategy, wireframes or visual mockups, site layouts, site maps, taxonomies navigation schematics, task flows, design briefs, key screens, templates, prototypes

Review and analyze high profile or complex projects and may lead projects or teams of user centered design specialists

Develop new research and tests theories that lead to alternative, leading edge design solutions

Analyze relevant internal and external sites and consult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practices

Exercise independent judgment to guide risk deliverables

Design, develop, test, and refine prototypes

Resolve moderately complex issues

Lead team to meet key milestone deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of business, user, and technical requirements

Create and monitor schedules to ensure timely effective program execution

Develop and oversee planning and execution of projects, production schedules, and quality assurance

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Command of common design tools, most notably Figma

Experience with driving digital customer experience change and using data to inform design outcomes and narratives

Ability to ask appropriate questions, communicate effectively and persuasively to convey design solutions to a broad range of stakeholders: product managers, engineers, customers, etc.

Comfortable with ambiguity and able to shape and drive work independently

Experience designing effectively within a standards-aligned design environment and knowing when to push design system boundaries as necessary

Experience with strategic planning and diagrammatic skills?(Information Architecture), low fidelity wireframe production,?high-fidelity design comp production,?and design interaction specifications - including which artifact best suits the communication need

Familiarity with iterative and Agile development processes and knowledge of application layer design and?front-end code frameworks (React, jQuery, etc.)

Ability to energize and motivate others; thrives in teams; highly inclusive, curious, and collaborative with proven ability to lead through influence (vs. authority)

This opportunity provides a hybrid work schedule at one of the posted locations

Salary range for NYC & Bay Area is $120,000 - $196,000 USD

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
