User Experience (UX) Researcher

We are looking for a talented and experienced User Experience Researcher to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research for the Product Experience team to assist business stakeholders in building and delivering leading-edge web/application solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, develop design solutions, and create prototypes. You will also be responsible for supporting user experience design activities, iterating designs based on user feedback. How you will make an impact: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, other designers, digital product managers and the technology teams, to translate user insights into innovative and user-friendly product interfaces. Identify appropriate research methodologies to address key business needs and to ensure the research provides clear actionable recommendations. Design research studies to address both user behavior and attitudes while using qualitative and quantitative data to assist in the creation of effective, desirable and easy to use digital user interfaces. Research study methods may include surveys, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, card sorts, tree testing, intercept studies, focus groups, ethnographic field studies for both web and mobile experiences. Design, author and execute test plans, as well as evaluating the results for evidence-based research to develop recommendations. Ability to simultaneously manage 2-3 research projects and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Utilize design thinking methodologies, data, and tools to support ideation and iteration on design concepts, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience. Support the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to be used for user research, maintaining a keen eye for detail and consistency throughout the design process. Stay informed about and apply design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies (AI, automation, hyper personalization, etc.), applying this knowledge to continuously enhance and elevate the overall quality of product experiences. Ability to support all U.S. time zones and adapt to occasional collaboration with overseas resources, ensuring responsiveness and effective teamwork across global teams. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS in Human Computer Interactions, Psychology, Information Sciences, Communications related field of study and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in user research/usability; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in user research/usability; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. (e.g. Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Product Design) Experience utilizing research tools such as Optimal Workshop, UserTesting, UserZoom, etc strongly preferred. Experience using design tools Figma, Axure, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Experience Manager, and other relevant software in an Agile environment strongly preferred. A strong and well-presented portfolio showcasing a range of research/design projects that demonstrate proficiency and ability to consistently deliver completed research studies that impact and support business and user needs strongly preferred. Proven ability to work within both Windows and macOS operating systems. Candidates should be comfortable using each platform for their core job functions, including design, collaboration, and file management strongly preferred. For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $92,400 to $145,200.
