Location: San Diego, CA at our G2 Ops office and customer site
Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity and/or flexible hours; not a fully remote position
Looking to Start: September 2025
Openings: 1 Full-Time Role
Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 plus benefits
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance

Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for dashboards and data pipelines
- Enhance layout, readability, and visual appeal of visualizations and UI elements
- Gather, interpret, and implement feedback from end-users and stakeholders
- Ensure accessibility standards and consistency across products
- Develop reusable templates, style guides, and design documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners
- Work within an Agile environment; Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification is a plus
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience designing dashboards and data visualization interfaces
- Strong skills in improving layout, readability, and visual appeal of UI components
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and ensuring consistent design across products
- Experience creating reusable templates, style guides, and design documentation
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners
- Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
About the Role and Fit
We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented software engineer to design and enhance intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for dashboards, data pipelines, and visualizations. This includes improving layout and readability of visualizations, implementing user feedback, ensuring accessibility and consistency, and developing templates and style guides to support a cohesive user experience. Due to the nature of DoD work, some on-site presence at military sites may be required with prior approval for telework.
