The National Security Group at Leidos is excited to announce an opportunity for a Video System and Hardware Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support critical client requirements while ensuring the continuity and success of essential operations for our mission. Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure the availability of mission-critical launch communications systems.
- Manage incidents and problems efficiently to restore services as promptly as possible.
- Assist with account management and configuration request fulfillment tasks.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.
- Document all activities and work performed using our ticketing system.
- Enhance and maintain the documentation of maintenance and operational procedures.
- Conduct daily system checks to identify service alerts or degradation.
- Provide on-call support as necessary.
- Oversee configuration management for launch communications systems.
- Perform change control and configuration audits to ensure compliance.
- Develop and manage precision configuration and engineering documentation, including facility maps and system overviews.
- Regulate change processes by coordinating with relevant change boards for approvals.
- Utilize automated configuration management tools to enforce policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to configuration management functions and version control.
- Propose effective change management solutions tailored to meet customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Significant relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Experience in launch or mission operations.
- Understanding of configuration management, change management, and service transitions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, NETS, and ServiceNow.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- Relevant DoD 8570 certification, typically Security+.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).

Pay Range: $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
The Leidos pay range for this position serves as a guideline and varies based on experience and qualifications. Additional factors considered for compensation may include job responsibilities, market data alignment, and relevant education.
