This job is located in Rockford,IL M-F 8a-430p, no holidays of weekends POSITION SUMMARY:
The essential function is to be responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance benefit information, referrals and authorizations prior to a patient's appointment. Also responsible for the clerical duties for scheduling surgeries and patient care support activities at the direction of the Site Manager and physician/provider. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to pay attention to detail. Strong knowledge of insurance rulings and guidelines. Knowledge of insurance reviews. Basic knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding. Good verbal and communication skills. Good computer and telephone skills. Exercises good judgment and decision making as well as problem solving. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
