Audio engineer/ producer Job at Mann Cave Studios in Surrey

We are looking for a passionate and technically skilled Audio Engineer to become an integral part of our team and our community.

The Role:

You will be the technical and creative anchor for our clients throughout their recording journey. This is a hands-on role for a sonic architect who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include: · Engineering recording sessions for a diverse range of artists.

· Producing, editing, and arranging tracks to help songs reach their full potential.

· Mixing and mastering projects to commercial loudness and quality standards.

· Managing session files, studio organization, and signal flow.

· Providing a professional, creative, and supportive experience for all clients.

Troubleshooting any technical issues with gear or computers.

Who You Are:

You are more than an engineer; you are a musician's trusted ally. You have a keen ear, a patient demeanor, and the technical chops to solve any problem that arises in a session. You're passionate about sound and excited to grow with our studio.

Non-Negotiable Requirements: ·

Expert Proficiency in Ableton Live: Your workflow is second nature. Session view, arrangement view, warping, routing – you know it all.

· Intermediate Music Theory Knowledge: You understand key, scale, chord progressions, and song structure. You can communicate musically with artists and suggest meaningful harmonic and melodic ideas.

· Intermediate-High Level Audio Engineering Skills: You have a proven track record in:

· Mixing: Balance, EQ, compression, spatial effects, and creative processing.

· Mastering: Finalizing tracks for release across various platforms (digital, vinyl). · Production: Sound design, sampling, and beat-making are strong assets. The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:

· Experience in a professional studio environment. · Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.

· A proactive, problem-solving attitude and meticulous attention to detail.

· A deep and diverse musical palette.
