About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven and creative Email Marketing Manager with deep experience in Klaviyo to lead and manage our email marketing efforts across multiple business units within the automotive industry. You will play a key role in developing and executing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and growth across our auction, media, auto retail, and wholesale platforms.
Experience in automotive marketing is highly preferred, and familiarity with Dealertrack software, particularly VinSolutions, would be a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, including but not limited to flows, promotions, and transactional emails.
- Manage email strategy across multiple brands and business platforms, creating consistent voice and messaging tailored to each audience segment (auction, media, retail, and wholesale).
- Create and maintain audience segmentation strategies to support personalized messaging and targeting.
- Design mobile-responsive, visually appealing email templates aligned with brand guidelines.
- Analyze performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, etc.) and generate actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times to continually enhance performance.
- Ensure email deliverability best practices and compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations.
- Collaborate closely with content, design, product, and sales teams to align messaging with overall marketing strategy.
- Leverage understanding of the automotive industry and tools like VinSolutions to better align campaigns with the specific needs of auto retail and wholesale audiences.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Proven expertise in Klaviyo, including automation flows, segmentation, analytics, and SMS (optional).
- Experience in marketing within the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-brand or multi-business marketing structures, ideally within the automotive space.
- Understanding of audience behavior across different business types: B2C, B2B, and media.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email formatting and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Experience using VinSolutions or similar Dealertrack CRM tools is a plus.
