Job Description

Marketing Lead

Brooklyn, NY (Possibility for Hybrid or Remote)

100K

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Lead who can think strategically but isn't afraid to dive deep into execution. As the company's first marketing hire, you'll wear multiple hats—shaping strategy while also running campaigns, managing vendors, and getting work done yourself.

This is a rare opportunity to build playbooks from scratch and execute them, working closely with leadership, sales, and product to directly impact revenue growth and market presence.

What You'll Do

  • Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

    • Contribute to the development of Keeper's marketing strategy across demand generation, content, and brand.

    • Translate business goals into measurable campaigns and own execution across email, social, and events.

    • Manage lifecycle marketing in Customer.io (end users) and HubSpot (employers) to support our B2B2C model.

  • Content & Messaging

    • Write and edit blogs, case studies, landing pages, and email sequences.

    • Develop sales enablement materials for the business development team.

  • Digital Marketing & Website

    • Own and optimize Keeper's website, managing SEO, performance, and design updates.

    • Run A/B tests and optimize messaging, creative, and conversion funnels.

    • Manage outside vendors and freelancers (design, web, creative) as needed.

  • Events & Partnerships

    • Create and run our conference playbook—from pre-event marketing to booth execution and post-event follow-up.

  • Analytics & Reporting

    • Track and analyze campaign performance, report against KPIs, and deliver actionable insights.

    • Continuously test, iterate, and refine campaigns to drive measurable results.

What You Bring to the Team

  • B2B marketing experience (startup or SaaS strongly preferred).

  • A proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

  • Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset: comfortable tracking KPIs, running tests, and making data-driven decisions.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, and growth tools (Customer.io, HubSpot, Apollo, Smartlead, Mailreef, or similar).

  • Comfort working with vendors/freelancers and rolling up your sleeves to deliver work independently.

  • Experience in fintech, HR tech, or healthcare (preferred, not required).

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a mission-driven fintech improving the lives of hourly workers nationwide.

  • Opportunity to build the marketing function from the ground up.

  • Fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with room to grow.

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and flexible work arrangements.

  • Supportive, collaborative, and feedback-driven culture.
