Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define and design solutions that meet user needs and business goals
  • Lead discovery activities, including user research, interviews, and usability testing, to validate problems and solutions
  • Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications for new and existing features
  • Deliver pixel-perfect, production-ready UI designs aligned with Booster’s design system and brand guidelines
  • Advocate for the user experience throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Work iteratively, leveraging feedback and data to refine solutions
  • Contribute to and evolve Booster’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a UX, Product, or Interaction Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Ability to clearly communicate design rationale to cross-functional partners
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile-first experiences
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility best practices
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and strong sense of ownership

Bonus Qualifications

  • Unwavering attention to detail when it comes to visual design as well as asset, file, and layer organization/documentation
  • Proven understanding of responsive web & mobile application design, wireframe development, and web accessibility standards
  • Experience creating or working within a Design System and helping establish design norms for a team
  • Experience using Miro or similar tools for brainstorming and collaboration
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment and works well as both an individual contributor and a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; can build meaningful relationships across the organization
  • Ability to influence others and provide thought leadership around design work
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust direction based on team and stakeholder consensus
  • Master’s degree or further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field
