We’re hiring a Senior Performance Marketing Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead the execution and optimization of paid media strategies. The primary emphasis of this role is on Paid Search/SEM, with familiarity in managing and optimizing campaigns in other paid channels such as paid social and programmatic. The ideal candidate combines technical fluency, strategic thinking, and a strong performance-driven mindset to drive measurable business results.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end strategy and execution of Paid Search/SEM campaigns, including keyword strategy, campaign setup, audience targeting, automated bidding, A/B testing, and pacing across platforms such as Google Ads. Familiarity in channels beyond SEM/Paid Search, such as paid social, SEO, or programmatic. We are looking for individuals who have expertise in SEM and at least one other media channel. Lead optimization of shopping campaigns and product feeds in Google Merchant Center, ensuring accurate product data, proper categorization, and compliance with platform requirements. Analyze and refine SEM performance using KPIs such as ROAS, iROAS, cost per conversion, and conversion rate. Manage campaigns across multi-location or franchise-based accounts, ensuring scalability, location-level relevance, and budget alignment across entities. Collaborate across disciplines including creative, engagement, editorial, and intelligence to align messaging and performance insights. Partner with analysts to develop performance reporting and clearly articulate campaign outcomes, wins, and areas for improvement. Present media performance and strategy recommendations directly to clients and internal stakeholders. Maintain deep understanding of industry trends, search engine updates, and evolving automation tools (e.g., Performance Max). Contribute to process optimization, internal documentation, and team knowledge sharing. Requirements
5+ years of hands-on Paid Search/SEM experience, with a strong track record of performance outcomes required; agency experience strongly preferred. Deep familiarity with Google Merchant Center, including shopping feed setup, troubleshooting, and optimization for retail campaigns. Experience managing Google Shopping and franchise/multi-location account structures. Demonstrated ability to manage and scale performance media strategies across franchise or multi-location brand structures. Strong understanding of measurement, attribution models, and how to turn performance data into actionable insights. Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and dashboard/reporting tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex insights for clients and stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and presentation tools. Google Ads Certification strongly preferred. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
