Job Summary The Marketing Director will lead and execute marketing strategies for the NASCAR Cup Series teams, NASCAR Truck Series teams, and NASCAR ARCA Series entries, under the Spire Motorsports umbrella. This individual should have a deep understanding of marketing in the sports and entertainment sector, especially motorsports, and will be responsible for elevating our digital footprint, driving fan engagement, supporting revenue growth, growing and maintaining the Spire Motorsports website, and increasing merchandise sales online, in-store, and at-track.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, hire, and train department staff

Oversee the day-to-day operations and workflow of the marketing and content team

Conduct performance evaluations that are constructive and timely

Handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy

Duties / Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, fan engagement, and revenue generation

Lead the creation and management of digital campaigns across social media, email, website, and digital advertising platforms

Manage the development of compelling content that reflects the brand, promotes our NASCAR teams, and resonates with fans

Collaborate with creative teams to ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and marketing goals

Oversee and optimize social media presence on platforms including Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, and YouTube

Implement strategies to grow social media followers, engagement, and fan interaction

Analyze performance metrics (e.g., web traffic, engagement, ROI) and use data to optimize campaigns and content

Partner with sponsorship and partnership teams to create digital initiatives that enhance partner visibility and value

Integrate sponsor messaging and branding into all digital content and campaigns

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and content team

Coordinate with departments such as public relations, sales, and operations to ensure cohesive brand communication

Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and emerging technologies to keep strategies innovative and competitive

Evaluate and explore new digital platforms to expand audience reach and engagement

Oversee the entire digital footprint, merchandising, and licensing activities for Spire Motorsports

Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities

Proven success leading digital marketing campaigns with measurable results

Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, social media strategy, and digital advertising

Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management abilities

Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Passion for motorsports and a solid understanding of the NASCAR landscape

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

Proficiency in social media tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)

High attention to detail with a creative, solution-oriented mindset

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Experience in motorsports or broader sports marketing strongly preferred

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Occasional movement required to access file cabinets and office equipment

Must be able to navigate all areas of company facilities

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and walk extended distances at the race track
