Overview
Senior Data Analyst, Marketing Strategy role at Sega of America, Inc. This position supports the Marketing Strategy team by setting KPIs, analyzing marketing campaign performance, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize marketing efforts. Responsibilities
Together with Brand Marketing, Media and CRM teams, create strategies and measure the success of campaigns, channels and customer segments to drive performance and campaign efficiency. Develop KPIs, benchmarks, and measurement to track ongoing performance of marketing campaigns in real time. Leverage campaign performance data to identify ways to optimize marketing spend. Quantify the effects of community social media engagement and earned/owned media coverage on game sales KPIs. Produce ad hoc reports on how marketing is impacting traffic, sales, and brand lift across owned and first-party channels. Assist in design and implementation of statistical testing (e.g., A/B testing) and predictive analytics to improve creative design and user experience for websites and other owned media. In-office presence is required. This role requires in-office work a minimum of 3 days per week, based in Irvine, CA, to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. Qualifications
6+ years of full-time work experience in data analytics with a focus on marketing and advertising 3+ years of experience with digital IP in the gaming or entertainment industry Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience Experience designing visualizations in Power BI or equivalent tools Expert level experience with Excel, Databricks, or equivalent analysis software Proficiency with SQL or another query language to retrieve data from relational databases Experience communicating analytical results to non-technical audiences Comfort with cleaning, organizing, and validating messy or unstructured data Comfortable communicating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures Company
