Key job responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs such as interactivity video ads, ensuring alignment with Amazon Advertising’s long-term business and technical goals.
• Stakeholder Influence: Partner with senior leaders, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, drive consensus, and deliver impactful solutions that scale globally.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Define KPIs and metrics to measure program success, identify areas for improvement, and provide transparent, actionable updates to leadership through detailed reporting and insights.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the key connection point between engineering, business teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program objectives are met without compromising quality or timelines.
• Leadership Development: Mentor and guide other TPMs and cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Solution Architecture: Collaborate with engineering, product management, and science to design and implement scalable, and efficient system architectures.
A day in the life
As a Principal Technical Program Manager on this team, you will lead the technical planning, coordination, architecture, and implementation of multiple programs across Ad Format organization. You will manage the lifecycle (architecture, design, implementation, documentation and measurement) of software teams that are delivering for the programs you manage. You will work alongside Creatives, Designers, Program Managers, Product Managers, and engineers. You will collaborate with teams across Amazon on the planning and execution of complex and highly-technical projects with high impact and visibility.
About the team
Our team delivers outsized performance for Streaming TV (STV) ads by augmenting the STV ad stream with information, actions, and full funnel experiences that help increase viewer’s attention and engagement. We build consumer experiences that attract advertiser investment, and connect entertainment with shopping. In line with this vision, we are focusing on 1) STV ad augmentation, inventing new, personalized customer experience that feature key information to viewers, and 2) Interactivity, addressing opportunities to deepen viewers' engagement with STV ads.
Basic Qualifications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
