Job Posting: Full Stack Developer

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Rate: $70 - $75/hr. on W2

About the Role

Join our clients Low Carbon Solutions team in developing a state-of-the-art optimization tool that supports investment and operational decisions for the US Gulf Coast Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS) system. This system is currently under construction and represents a scalable, world-class approach to reducing carbon emissions. The tool dynamically adjusts CO2 flows, site rates, and project startup timelines to maximize system-wide value while adhering to commercial and technical constraints.

What You Will Do

  • Develop user interfaces for a modern cloud-based web application that enables users to extract insights from complex model results.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and modeling experts to deliver a solution that meets the needs of the CCS organization.

  • Integrate APIs, create tests, and optimize performance across both frontend and backend technologies.

  • Work with data teams to format, retrieve, and display information effectively.

  • Build scalable, modular, and reusable code following best practices in software architecture.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in full stack, enterprise-grade software development.

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.

  • Experience with backend frameworks (Spring/.NET/Express) and database integration.

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and reactive programming concepts (async/await, RxJS).

  • Experience developing complex user interfaces with rich visualizations.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience building UIs for science or engineering applications.

  • Familiarity with JS-based backends, especially NestJS.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure.

  • Background in analytics platforms with heavy data visualization.

  • Full stack development experience including backend architecture.

  • Exposure to Python or Palantir's Ontology SDK.
