Position Overview:

The Graphic Designer plays a critical role in supporting DMA's visual communication and branding efforts across digital and print media. This position is responsible for creating compelling visual assets that support marketing initiatives, brand consistency, and audience engagement. The Graphic Designer works closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality materials aligned with the company's messaging and objectives. This hands-on role requires a combination of creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail to ensure impactful design outcomes across all platforms.

**Please note: This is an onsite position in Loris, SC.**

Key Responsibilities:

1. Graphic Design & Creative Development Design visually engaging materials for various media including digital ads, social media graphics, brochures, presentations, web elements, email campaigns, and more. Create original artwork and concepts that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. 2. Collaboration & Project Execution

Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to develop creative assets that support integrated marketing strategies. Participate in project meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions with innovative design ideas. 3. Branding & Visual Consistency

Ensure consistency in branding and visual identity across all creative assets. Maintain brand standards and guidelines while adapting designs for specific channels or campaigns. 4. Asset Management & File Organization

Maintain and organize design assets, templates, and digital files for easy retrieval and version control. Prepare final artwork files for both print and digital publication, ensuring quality and accuracy. 5. Industry Trends & Design Innovation

Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to enhance creative output. Suggest and implement innovative design solutions to improve audience engagement and campaign effectiveness. 6. Digital Design & Web Support

Assist in designing for web-based platforms, ensuring compatibility with responsive layouts and UX best practices. Provide visual support for landing pages, email templates, and UI mockups as needed. 7. Motion Graphics & Video Editing

Support motion graphics and basic video editing for social media or marketing use using tools such as Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro. 8. Additional Responsibilities:

Perform all other duties as assigned. Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the Marketing & Digital Content Manager. This position has no direct reports. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Experience : Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer or in a related creative role. Proven experience designing for both digital and print media, including advertisements, marketing collateral, branding materials, and social media content. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, preferably within a marketing or agency setting. Education : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Additional certifications in design software, UX/UI design, or digital media are a

plus . Skills : Must possess strong visual storytelling skills and a deep understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and composition. Must demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work while managing multiple design projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and interpreting feedback effectively. Must be a creative problem-solver, capable of transforming complex ideas into clean and engaging visuals. Time management, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are

required . Knowledge : Solid understanding of brand development and visual identity systems. Familiarity with both digital and print production processes. Basic knowledge of responsive web design principles and user experience (UX) considerations. Understanding of social media design best practices and how to tailor content to various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook). Awareness of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices is

preferred . Technology : Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a

plus . Familiarity with design collaboration and project management tools such as Figma, Canva, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and knowledge of HTML/CSS is a

plus . Proficient in standard office tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace is

required . Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily office-based with occasional requirements related to creative production, photo/video shoots, or event branding.

Mobility : Ability to move freely within an office environment and occasionally between offices, production sites, or off-site locations for meetings or content creation. Standing and Walking : May be required for short periods during photo shoots, content production, or collaborative sessions. Lifting and Carrying : Occasionally required to lift or transport design materials, marketing props, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Posture and Motion : Regular use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods. May involve occasional bending, reaching, or setting up visual displays. Vision and Hearing : Must have adequate vision for digital design work, layout editing, and reviewing proofs. Hearing sufficiently to participate in meetings and team discussions, both virtual and in person. Work Environment : Primarily a standard office setting, with occasional exposure to off-site environments (e.g., production studios, event venues) that may involve varying noise levels or travel requirements.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional domestic travel may be required to attend trade shows, industry conferences, marketing events, or to coordinate with external vendors and agency partners. Estimated travel is less than 5% of the time.
