Job Summary: Works with the AV Room Manager, Technical Director, Production Director, and Stage Manager at the Marriott Center for Dance to work on video documentation and live-streaming during School of Dance performances.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AV Room Manager and production team during performances and events.
• Operate and manage camera equipment for video documentation and live-streaming.
• Take direction well and perform under pressure during live performance settings.
• Attend all technical rehearsals and performances without fail or tardiness.
• Multitask and adapt quickly as the crew responsibilities change; may assist in live sound, lighting, projections, and other crew needs.
• Lift or pull at least 50 lbs. and move heavy camera equipment and peripherals safely and with care.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic knowledge of live theatrical performance responsibilities and organizational structure, including a basic understanding of camera operation.
• Ability to take direction, manage tasks, and work under pressure in a live environment.

Preferences

• Prior experience with videography and/or stagecraft.
