Overview
VP, Audience Innovation - Ad Sales (Hybrid Options Available) at A+E Global Media. This role leads advanced advertising initiatives by integrating data-driven strategies with client-focused solutions to keep A+E Global Media at the forefront of the industry.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the roadmap for the Precision & Performance platform, ensuring it leads in innovation, targeting, and effectiveness measurement while achieving revenue growth targets.
- Oversee the lifecycle from vision and roadmap to delivery and ongoing management, ensuring scalability to meet client and partner needs.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals to drive revenue growth.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with high-value clients, including agencies and advertisers, to boost retention and customer lifetime value.
- Lead requests and priorities for Precision/Performance pitch proposals, assessing the best strategy to pitch clients based on verticals/categories.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Research, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure cohesive strategy execution and product development.
- Educate internal teams in the Media Solutions environment about practices, vertical differences, product needs, and operations processes.
- Implement tools and processes to track KPIs, forecast performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Provide regular reporting to the Audience Innovation executive team and Media Solutions management on client progress and the evolution of Precision.
- Represent A+E at industry events and conferences, building strategic partnerships and elevating the company’s reputation among key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to inform product development and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Basic Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in media, advertising, or ad tech; at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing advanced advertising solutions; at least 3 years in a formal people manager role.
- The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Deep industry relationships; experience in-house, at an agency, or with a vendor; experience working directly with agencies, brands, and advanced advertising platforms; a proven track record of leading data-driven product development and sales strategy within a media organization or ad tech company; a history of managing complex product roadmaps integrating first- and third-party data, targeting technologies, and performance measurement tools.
Work Model & Locations
Our team is currently coming into the office 2 days a week if you’re commutable to NYC, Chicago, or LA. Fully remote candidates will also be considered if you live in one of our approved working states.
Compensation
Annual Pay Range: $188,034 - $220,000
Annual Incentive Target: 25.00%
