Overview

The New York Times Advertising Mission is looking for a Product Designer to design compelling ad experiences to our audience of millions of curious users, across all of our products. New York Times Advertising elevates brands through the world's most premium ad experiences. The Ad Mission aims to deliver scaled ad products that are relevant to our audience and are high performant, driving measurable impact and delivering outcomes for our advertisers. This is an individual contributor role in a hybrid work arrangement based in New York City.

As a Product Designer in the Ad Mission, you help shape the future of advertising within a world-renowned media organization. You will create new advertising experiences across the user journeys of our products and improve current experiences to provide more value to users while enhancing performance for advertisers. This role involves identifying hypotheses to guide the creation of solutions that balance both user and company needs. At The Times, Product Designers work across teams, learn about our products, and sharpen their design skills with guidance from more experienced designers. You will design features that support team and product goals through a full release cycle and be a trusted team contributor.
