Overview

Valnet's Tech Sites is seeking a Security Author to write feature articles for MakeUseOf.com. This is a remote, freelance position.

MUO is one of the largest technology publications on the web. We aim to equip readers with the tools they need to make the most of their technology by simplifying complex topics into guides that are clear and valuable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute consistently and reliably (news and features) under tight deadlines.
• You will be assigned articles and have the ability to claim ideas; once you are comfortable with the content we publish, you are welcome to pitch your own ideas.
• Stay up to date on the latest technology and security news and updates.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in writing and editing.
• Expert knowledge of one or more technology platforms, products, or apps.
• Expert knowledge of VPN, antivirus/anti-malware, and online privacy and security.
