Overview
The Content Manager is responsible for handling and developing content for Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and other materials created by the Sales Enablement team. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather information, ensuring the content is accurate, compelling, and aligns with Gallagher's strategic objectives. The Content Manager will maintain, evaluate, and manage the RFP Database Technology, and play a critical role in ensuring Sales Enablement produces high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
How you\'ll make an impact
- Content Development: Create, edit, and manage content for RFP responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with Gallagher\'s brand and messaging.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SMEs, sales, marketing, legal, and other departments to gather information and insights for RFP responses. Collaborate with the graphic design team to incorporate visuals that enhance content and match other sales materials.
- Project Management: Coordinate the RFP content update process, including timelines, results, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely completion.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proofread all RFP content to ensure it meets Gallagher\'s standards for quality, compliance and branding.
- Research: Conduct research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to tailor RFP responses effectively.
- Database Management: Maintain and update a repository of standard content, case studies, and other relevant materials for efficient reuse. Assign licenses to new users. Lead day-to-day questions/training regarding Database usage. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of database technologies used for storing and retrieving RFP content, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Continuous Improvement/Updates: Analyze feedback and outcomes of RFP submissions to identify areas for improvement and implement standard processes. Conduct regular content audits to ensure relevance, accuracy and consistency.

About You
Required:
- Bachelor\'s degree; Minimum 3 years Copywriting experience.
- Knowledge of digital, non-digital and integrated media, with ability to edit content for the web and a willingness to learn how to help manage digital content.
Highly Preferred:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Shown experience in content management, proposal writing, or a similar role within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and editing abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management software is a plus.
- Expertise in AI Tools and Technologies - Experience in utilizing AI tools, platforms, and technologies to solve business challenges and optimize processes.
- Familiarity with AI-driven software and frameworks.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
