Maintenance Scheduler & Inventory Clerk — Location: Greeley, CO
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Director of Operations
Shift: Monday -- Friday, 7:00 AM -- 3:30 PM
Pay: $17--$18/hr DOE
Summary
The Maintenance Scheduler & Inventory Clerk is responsible for coordinating daily and weekly maintenance schedules, managing the spare parts inventory system, and ensuring accurate documentation within the Fiix CMMS. This role supports maintenance operations by ensuring that work orders are scheduled, materials are available, and shift‑to‑shift communication is clear. The position requires strong organizational and computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross‑functionally with maintenance, operations, and outside vendors. This role strengthens preventive maintenance, improves parts organization, and drives continuous improvement in reliability.
Responsibilities
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work orders in Fiix CMMS, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
- Manage spare parts and critical inventory: receive, log, issue, and return parts with accuracy.
- Support 5S practices in the parts room and maintenance shop to maintain organization and efficiency.
- Track open work orders, backlog, and upcoming PM schedules; communicate priorities to maintenance leads.
- Collaborate with purchasing/vendor partners to order and expedite parts while monitoring lead times.
- Provide clear updates on inventory levels, parts usage, and orders to the Maintenance Manager and shift leads.
- Support maintenance shift handoffs by ensuring work orders and parts information are updated daily.
- Maintain organized files, records, and reports to support compliance with audits and inspections.
- Assist in capital project planning by ensuring parts are ordered and staged for installation.
- Occasionally pick up local parts when required (mileage reimbursed).

Experience / Requirements
- Previous inventory management experience required.
- Proficiency in Excel and CMMS systems (Fiix experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple shifts and departments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (occasional parts pickup required).
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit, type, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, lift up to 30 lbs, and reach with hands and arms.
