Insight Global is seeking a skilled Corporate Event Planner to start immediately and work temporarily through March 2026. This role will assist in sourcing high-caliber speakers, help curate content, and provide logistical support to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees. The ideal candidate will have a background in event planning and content creation, along with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed.

Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event objectives, target audiences, budgets, and success metrics.
  • Follow established event project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring events are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and service providers for various corporate events ranging from small executive meetings to large scale conferences of over 350 attendees.
  • Aggregate information obtained from leadership, attendees, home office stakeholders, industry trends, and firm councils to identify and build out agenda topics.
  • Build attendee lists with guidance from Janney leadership, then utilize Cvent to distribute invites, gather attendee data, and track engagement.
  • Create session descriptions, email invitations, event overviews for event website and other collateral.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external speakers, ensuring clear communication of expectations before, during, and after the event.
  • Assist in negotiating speaker contracts and manage all logistical details related to speaker participation.
  • Assist the events team with meeting prep (such as gift bag assembly, packing boxes to ship, etc.), on-site setup and management, and tear-down at event venues.
  • Coordinate and partner with audio visual teams before and during event for flow and timing cues.
  • Gather and analyze attendee feedback post-event and make recommendations to improve content and logistics at future events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, public relations, marketing/communications, event management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in conference programming, event management, or content curation.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex timelines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail, with an organized and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to travel to/from our home office in Philadelphia a minimum of 3x/week.
  • Some overnights and weekend work during events may be required.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and project/event tools like Cvent and Monday is preferred.

Compensation

Compensation: $20-30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
