Overview

Fine Jewelry Commission Sales Associate - Fashion Valley Mall at JCPenney. Be the resident guru around all things Fine Jewelry in the store. You know these products inside and out and love educating the customer on how your merchandise can enrich their lives.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Approaches customers in a friendly manner to engage, determine needs, and help customers make decisions about desired product or service. Informs customers of key product attributes to generate interest and build clientele. Meets or exceeds sales goals by applying in-depth knowledge and customer service to Fine Jewelry.
• Support the Instant Credit Application Process (iCAP) with enthusiasm.
• General Operations: Participate in inventory processes (annual inventory, cycle counts, system uploads, stock ledger, RFID scans, etc.). Participate in all Merchandise Transfer Out (MTO), Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, and Defective Merchandise Transfer Out activities. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
• Performance Standards: Support shrink and safety initiatives and consistently meet established performance standards for the role, including iCAP, product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Commission: 1% on sales of qualified merchandise and 10% commission for Service and Care plans.
