On the journey towards greater specialization and growth, we have developed the role of Senior Graphic Designer to lead our art team and cultivate exceptional experiences through our designs.

As the Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll create engaging and creative content to bring the Lucky Goat Coffee brand to life to achieve company strategies and goals. From concept to execution, the Senior Graphic Designer will cultivate the Lucky Goat experience through all departments and be at forefront of brand development through various marketing platforms within Tallahassee, FL and surrounding Franchise markets. You’ll collaborate with and lead a passionate team to develop, design, and deliver branded content that excites our customers, strengthens our operations, and fuels our company’s growth.

This is a full-time position that directly reports to the Vice President of Branding.

Overview

Role overview and context for the Senior Graphic Designer position within the Lucky Goat Coffee brand, focusing on brand development, multi-channel content, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of branded assets across digital and print channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Own the creative process from concept through production—delivering innovative and creative assets that are on-brand and within scope.
• Create original product content (e.g. illustrations, infographics, product videos, blog posts, newsletters, etc.) to communicate the intrigue of specialty coffee and the story behind our brand.
• Aid in the development of new and updating of existing marketing collateral for all internal departments.
• Mentor and provide creative direction to Graphic Designers, engaging in professional development conversations to elevate the department’s output and enhance the technical skills of all designers.
• Assist with the development of corporate and franchise marketing and sales support materials for the Lucky Goat Coffee brand.
• Work in close liaison with the Vice President of Branding and internal departments to execute brand strategies to achieve company goals.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh, innovative design approaches to the brand.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Graphic Design or design related field.
• Minimum of three years of proven work experience as a designer showcased in a portfolio. Portfolio should showcase a wide range of digital and print work, including brand, campaign, and product design.
• Minimum of three years\' experience leading and developing direct reports, with a proven track record of leading high-performing creative teams.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and project management software such as Asana.
• Strong aesthetic skills with a keen eye for color, layouts, graphics and visual design.
• Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills and an emphasis on details.
• Superior communication skills and presentations skills with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing work environment.
• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with multiple divisions and tight deadlines.
• Proven interpersonal skills - able to develop good work relationships, enjoy meeting and working with people at all levels and from diverse walks of life.
• Energetic and persistent to see tasks through to deliver an excellent end product.
• Problem solver and solution oriented.
