Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online students with tutors for Adobe Illustrator instruction. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform to deliver Adobe Illustrator instruction.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Provide engaging, personalized lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching.
• Manage tutoring sessions and invoicing (we handle payments).

Compensation and Schedule

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour for ongoing sessions with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remote work—no commuting required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.
