Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager

Overview


Topix Skin Health is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager to lead the social media strategy and influencer marketing efforts for our DERMA E and thinksun brands.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and skincare, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a proven track record of building brand awareness through influencer partnerships and innovative digital marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities



  1. Social Media Management:

    • In conjunction with the Sr. Manager: develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) for DERMA E and thinksun.

    • Create and curate engaging, on-brand content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement.

    • Manage the thinksun content calendars to ensure timely execution of campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

    • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) for thinksun such as follower growth, engagement rates, website traffic, and conversions.

    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform changes, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s strategy remains cutting-edge.



  2. Influencer Marketing & Partnerships:

    • Manage box sends & gifting strategy for all influencers for DERMA E & thinksun.

    • Track KPIs and monitor social response for gifting/box sends.

    • Facilitate working with warehouse on timely send outs.

    • Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling, high-quality content that aligns with brand aesthetics and messaging.

    • Coordinate photo and video shoots for social media, ensuring all content highlights product features and skincare benefits.

    • Develop social-first campaigns that drive awareness, education, and sales conversions.



  3. Community Management & Engagement:

    • Foster an engaged and loyal online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and personable manner.

    • Monitor customer sentiment, feedback, and reviews on social media, providing insights to internal teams to improve the customer experience.

    • Organize and manage online events, giveaways, and collaborations that generate excitement and increase brand visibility.



  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to ensure social media strategies align with broader marketing initiatives.

    • Collaborate with teams to integrate influencer and organic content into advertising campaigns.

    • Support key retail partnerships by developing social media content and influencer activations that drive traffic and sales.




Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry.

  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape, including platform-specific trends, best practices, and analytics tools.

  • Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts and developing cross-platform strategies for different brands.

  • Established network of influencer contacts in the beauty/skincare space.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and adapt to changing trends quickly.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Self-starter, comfortable in an evolving, fast-paced office environment

  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
