Role Overview
The Influencer Marketing Manager will provide premium service to diverse brands eager to develop influencer programs at scale within their affiliate channels. This person will be directly responsible for managing the client relationship, as well as owning the development and execution of influencer program strategy, including recruitment, content, communication, incentive, and optimization strategies focused on monetizing content across social media. Strategies are customized to each client’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- PROGRAM STRATEGY & EXECUTION – Manage successful influencer programs by developing custom strategies and tactical plans aligned with client goals; monitor program performance, budget spend, and pacing; present strategic recommendations to optimize performance and spend; stay current with influencer industry trends and apply insights to strategy.
- CLIENT SERVICE & COMMUNICATION – Provide superior client service, serve as the point of contact, escalate issues or risks as appropriate, and maintain high client satisfaction and retention.
- REPORTING & ANALYSIS – Use data strategically to draw insights, identify trends, and provide recommendations; conduct robust analysis of influencer program performance across upper- to lower-funnel metrics and educate clients as needed.
- INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIP OPTIMIZATION – Design recruitment, content, communication, incentive, and optimization strategies to foster long-term creator partnerships; negotiate longer-term media packages; address client questions on alignment and monetization; train and develop influencers on affiliate best practices.
- PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT – Manage multiple programs with the ability to prioritize based on client objectives; identify new opportunities and proactively address misalignments, delivering solutions.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in influencer marketing at an agency with experience managing client relationships
- Strong understanding of how influencer and affiliate marketing integrate
- Solid understanding of omni-channel and digital marketing; proven track record running influencer campaigns for consumer brands
- Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with formatting, formulas, and reporting
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Knowledge of attribution in digital marketing
- Experience with tools (CreatorIQ, Grin, Izea, etc.) preferred; knowledge of affiliate networks or SaaS platforms (Impact, ShareASale, CJ, etc.) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel up to 15%

Salary: Target $75,000 - $85,000 depending on location and experience. Benefits may vary by location.
