Qualifications

  • Required Education: Currently enrolled UK student with at least four completed semesters of undergraduate studies.
  • Required Related Experience: Must have FWS award for Fall 2025.
  • Required License/Registration/Certification: N/A
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. and sit or stand for 2 or more hours at a time with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Shift: Monday – Thursday between 9:00am – 4:00pm.
  • Job Summary: Shelving aide will organize and re-shelve books which are currently in storage boxes. Shelving aide will remove boxes from shelves, place books on carts, and transfer books to new shelving areas. Aide will organize materials and titles based on Law Library guidelines.
  • Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: No
  • Preferred Education/Experience: Library technical services experience. Library Science, Law, or History majors preferred, but others are welcome to apply.
