Overview
The KPC Kenai River Campus Library is looking to assist students, faculty, and the public in optimizing research and information resources available locally and via distance options. Join this progressive and innovative team of library professionals.
Kenai Peninsula College is recruiting for a Student Assistant-Library Clerk. You must be enrolled in at least 6 credits to be eligible to apply. We will work around your class schedule. Be a part of our team.
Must respect library users and have strong customer relation skills; must have a good work ethic and be reliable for scheduled work times; must have knowledge of basic computer skills; office and/or library work experience and skills helpful.
Minimum Qualifications
- To be eligible for student employment, an applicant must have the following requisites:
- They must be enrolled in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment;
- Have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA);
- Student enrolled in non-traditional programs of study will be considered eligible for student employment with the approval of the Senior Student Services officer. An applicant must provide evidence of enrollment as outlined above to substantiate employment eligibility.
Position Details
This is a Student Assistant Level 1 Step 6 position, with a starting salary of $11.42/hr at KPC. This position is for up to 20 hours per week, between the hours of 9:00-5:00 Monday - Friday and will work around your class schedule.
