Responsibilities

• Tutor online one-on-one with high school students in American Literature.
• Provide personalized instruction, adapt to different learning styles, and explain concepts clearly.
• Use the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely; generate or customize lessons as needed.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; manage your own schedule and client matching.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in High School Level American Literature and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour.
• Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
